In order for me and Laura to be able to confirm which song we were going to choose to do, we needed an audience to watch the screen test which we produced beforehand, so that they could provide us with their opinions on which would look more interesting as well as which looked the most convincing.
Depending on their feedback we were going to either choose "If you wanna" by the Paris Youth Foundation or "Hand in my Pocket" by Kassassin Street. In the end, people told us that "Hand in my Pocket" was the song which I appeared to look the most comfortable with and although I didn't know the lyrics too well, they could see me enjoying it and concluded that I connected with it more than the "If you wanna song". Nevertheless a small majority thought the opposite and said that the other song was much better in terms of lyrics however like the vast majority, I wasn't confident that I could convincingly lip sync the "If you wanna" song because of the unique voice that the artist possessed.
As a result, considering all their opinions and ours, we decided that "Hand in my Pocket" was the victor! Which afterwards led us to start rehearsing the lyrics and planning the narratives for the music video.
