Many songs have been given added value thanks to their music video, here are some examples!
Originally the song "Take on me" by A-Ha didn't do very well however thanks to their decision to hire a very good video creator to create a video for their music video. There single ended up becoming the number one single. Luckily the person they hired was very unique and was able to combine their music video with animations, making their music video more interesting leading it to become more popular and intriguing.

Another Music video that ended up gaining added value was Sinead O'Connors song called "Nothing compares to you". Like A-Ha's song "Take on me" the video was able to lift the song itself from the depths of failure. This was thanks to the the video which displayed her and her beauty as well as her enormous display of emotion and passion, where she was shown singing with tears running down her face. Nevertheless the video added value to her song making it seem more interesting than it originally appeared whilst allowing her song to rise up and stand out from the others.
