Constructing the Dijipak

In relation to the Dijipak, Laura possessed a larger responsibility to complete it because I on the other hand was tasked to complete the advert. Both of us decided to do this so as to split our work load and use time efficiently. Of course we planned how both would look beforehand so that in the end, both products would relate and look connected with one another.

To ensure that our Dijipak and Advert would relate at the highest possibility, we also decided that we'd use the same photos which we captured in our photo shoot between both creations. Which would help the viewer to see and understand that the products were both based around the music video "Hand in my Pocket" by Kassassin Street.

Each panel was set to 20 inches by 20 inches at a resolution of 150 pixels per inch. This was the default size for all panels because it provided us with a simple size to repeat as well as a canvas that would help us to acquire and put high quality images.

Seen as though Laura was in charge of the the Dijipak more than I was, she used her knowledge and personal experience and decided to use apps on her phone to simplify the filtering and editing of the images we had captured during our photo shoot. After this she then put it all onto Adobe Photoshop, where she was able to make even more alterations in the hue, saturation and lighting of each image. Not to forget, she also added the same text as I did in my Advert using www.dafont.com where we were able to take full advantage of the "Rhino's Rock's" font and the "Stranger back in the night" font.

In conclusion most of the detail was put into the panels and the spines were a lot more simpler having a simple matt black background with our ever present and dominant "Rhino's Rock's" font displaying Hands in my Pocket.
